Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist at CNN. In addition, she is the producer on camera and co-executive for the DIY NETWORK TV show called"LAST HOUSE RUNNING" which debuted on in March of 2012. Her book EXTREME WINTER came out from Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. As a Boston-based special assignments reporter, she reported each week for three hours covering entertainment, lifestyle as well as news. Before joining WB56, she was the weekend meteorologist for WFOR-TV in Miami. She was in various reporting and meteorology positions such as News 12 Long Island (a 24 hour cable TV news channel) and WXII TV in Winston-Salem. While in New York City, she worked as a fill-in meteorologist for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
